Nayar strengthens its international presence helping Schindler maximize the connectivity of its third-party elevators, thereby improving Nayar’s value propositions in the Elevator & Escalator industry.
The Spanish technology company Nayar and Schindler, the Swiss leading elevator and escalator company, have signed a global agreement whereby Nayar’s technology will support Schindler in connecting its third-party elevators to the cloud, allowing Schindler’s technical operations centres to receive real-time alerts and monitor their performance.
In the words of José Luis Sanchis, Chief Marketing Officer of Nayar: “We have achieved an important milestone for our company. The agreement will help us become a globally leading supplier for Internet of Things (IoT) solutions in the elevator industry”.
An agreement with strict protocols is established to ensure data protection for all Nayar’s customers.
Nayar ensures all their current and future customers the protection and confidentiality of their data, following the same rigorous standards as provided in the past. The global agreement with Schindler has undergone meticulous legal procedures to establish a safeguard against conflicts of interest and to protect privileged and confidential information (including Chinese walls). All of Nayar’s customers are at all times assured full confidentiality and may continue to benefit from future innovation investments.

To reinforce this long-term alliance and ensure mutual collaboration and information between the development teams, Schindler has become a minority shareholder in Nayar. This move provides stability to the global project and ensures maximum commitment from both parties. The management of Nayar remains unchanged and will continue to be overseen by the company’s majority shareholders.
With no exclusivity agreement between the two companies, Nayar’s current and future developments aimed at improving IoT connectivity, will be accessible to all its customers.
