Nayar’s 5th ITC solution is more efficient, faster, and cost-effective than ever.
At Nayar, we have launched the 5th ITC solution to make compliance with ITC-AEM 1 regulations easier than ever. These regulations require the installation of bidirectional communication devices in all elevator cabins, ensuring that users can immediately contact emergency services when needed. This guarantees a fast and effective response in critical situations.
Our latest solution (you can review the previous four solutions [here]) consists of the Esseti Helpy 4G + surface-mounted panel. This versatile and scalable system has quickly become the go-to solution for any installation or configuration, adapting to different infrastructure requirements and client needs. Here’s why!
What is the 5th ITC solution?
This cutting-edge device integrates GSM functionality with a bidirectional communication system, offering multiple connectivity options and flexible audio installation setups. It is fully compliant with the EN81-28 standard and features 72-hour system firmware for enhanced performance.
As part of the Helpy ecosystem, it allows for a seamless upgrade from 2G to 4G while maintaining full compatibility with all system components. Additionally, it includes essential features for duplex installations, such as automatic recognition of the calling cabin, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
Designed to fit any installation type, this solution comes with its own ecosystem of peripherals, including active and passive audio modules, as well as integrated speakers and microphones that can function as either a bidirectional intercom or a gondola speaker in the machine room.
Its wide operating voltage range (12V to 30V) and dual-contact alarm function—configurable as either open or closed—make it a highly adaptable solution.
Additionally, the system offers a full suite of communication options, including: Ceiling and floor communicators for triphony and inductive loops; Surface-mounted and behind-button panel audio plates; A programmable relay.
This is truly a one-of-a-kind solution. With an exceptional battery life—up to 20 hours on standby and 5 hours of talk time—the device operates independently on its internal battery, ensuring uninterrupted communication even in the event of a power outage.
With just one device, you can effortlessly adapt to any installation or configuration, scaling as needed according to infrastructure and client requirements. The smooth transition from 2G to 4G, combined with reduced installation time, makes this the ideal solution for modernizing elevator systems with minimal labor investment. This addresses one of the biggest concerns for maintenance companies today.
